Joe Millea is the Director of Emerging Brands for Impact Group Brokerage. The purpose of the Emerging Brands department is to identify, evaluate, and incubate early-stage remarkable brands with the potential to scale by capitalizing on the ongoing shift in consumer preferences. As the connecting point for many investors, retailers, and startup brands, Joe has excellent visibility to emerging trends and opportunities within the Food & Beverage space.

Joe began his career in the Food & Beverage Industry in 2007 in analytics at Nielsen, supporting some of the largest brands in the space, from P&G to Conagra, with their new product launches. He then moved to the broker space, joining Harlow-HRK in 2012, and held positions in both analytics and sales. During that time, he managed Harlow-HRK’s perishable food & beverages desk, calling on the Kroger headquarter office in Cincinnati, OH, where he found tremendous success introducing and expanding high-growth brands including KeVita, Luna & Larry’s Coconut Bliss, Sweet Earth, and Ripple Foods.

Working with early stage brands has been Joe’s passion ever since. After Impact Group acquired Harlow-HRK in 2016, he began Impact’s Emerging Brands department and, in 2018, relocated to Impact’s headquarter office in Boise, ID where he continues to head the department.
